"Every nutrition plan I create is unique because each child is unique."

My Approach

I became a pediatric dietitian because I recognize that nutrition plays a vital part in the health and well-being of child’s growth and development. Nutrition is an integral part of health care and often determines how a child thrives. I take a whole-person approach to providing care, looking at every aspect of a patient’s life to create a nutrition care plan that’s personalized for them. Each nutrition plan I create is unique because each child is unique.

I provide nutrition assessments and education for high-risk infants up through teenagers under a variety of specialty services including gastroenterology, cardiology, diabetes, nephrology, neurology, and endocrinology. I help families understand special dietary and nutrition needs and focus on realistic strategies that will have important health benefits.

I really enjoy working with the whole family. Nutrition can be confusing, so I help to translate scientific research and evidence-based guidelines into a practical nutrition strategy, something that will both improve health and will work for families in the real world.
