Malathy Sivapalasingam, NP

As a nurse practitioner, I have always wanted to work with children, teens and families. Throughout my career, I have learned repeatedly that the small things I do for my patients can have a large impact.

This is a partnership, and I really enjoy hearing each patient's story. Each family comes in with their own set of experiences and expectations. I always try to listen carefully in order to tailor each family's care plan to their needs. My role is to not only provide care but also to advocate for my patients so they receive the best treatment available. I enjoy educating families about their child's condition, letting them know what they can do to help themselves and what we can do to help them.

My promise to families is that I will treat your child as if they were my own. As a parent of three boys, I know well the anxiety of going into a doctor's office. I always try to put myself in parents' shoes, and I strive to treat them the way I would want to be treated.
