Pediatrics
“I love being a pediatrician. To me it’s a calling and an honor to do what I do.”
Growing up, I thought it was my destiny to be a pediatrician because the word contains my name, Tricia. I love being a pediatrician. To me it’s a calling and an honor to do what I do. It does not feel like work. It’s just a core part of who I am.
I am a mother of four children. That’s something you can’t learn in residency, and it’s one of my greatest attributes. I understand what it’s like to raise a kid, be a role model, and work at the same time.
I’ve been a pediatrician for over 20 years, and what I bring to the table is not only excellent medical training but also that intangible quality of having raised my own large family. I’ve lived it, so I can empathize with what parents are going through. I want parents to know I’m here to support them, both as a doctor and as a fellow parent.
