Pediatrics
“I know firsthand how difficult navigating the parenting world can be.”
I chose pediatrics after my third-year rotation in medical school. I was in awe of the pediatricians and the rest of the team (nurses, social workers, case managers) who went above and beyond for families going through some of their most difficult times. The way everyone comes together for pediatric patients is unlike any other medical field, and I wanted to be a part of such a team.
As a pediatrician, I practice shared decision-making with families when providing care for their children. As a parent with two boys, I know firsthand how difficult navigating the parenting world can be, and more so, how hard it can be to navigate the medical world when your child is sick. My goal as your pediatrician is to make the best informed decisions together for your child and to make difficult times easier to navigate
I am also a certified lactation consultant. My goal is to provide lactational and breastfeeding support to families in the first year and beyond—be it latch issues, supply issues (over/under), return to work, inclusive combination feeding, or any other issue.
