“By using advanced minimally invasive technology, recovery is faster.”
I love being a pediatric surgeon because I get to help make kids better by using my hands. What’s great about having kids as patients is that even if they are very sick, they can bounce back and recover much better than adults.
In my work, I perform a lot of minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery using only a single incision, which means less trauma to the area and less noticeable scars.
I want parents to know that we have access to the most advanced minimally invasive technologies and that as a surgeon, I work with an entire team of excellent providers. I collaborate with other subspecialists to achieve an outcome that is superior to what would result if just one doctor were treating the patient alone. This multidisciplinary approach means each child gets the best of a combined group of experts in their field. Together, we do the very best for each child that we see.
