It is my nature to help people, especially children. I remember when I visited some children in an orphanage on one of my field trips in elementary school. From that day on, I knew I wanted to help children in need, and being a pediatrician gives me an opportunity to do that every day. I believe children are wonderful teachers who live in the present moment and show us how to live with joy.

My goal is to connect with each child I see. I am their medical doctor, but I pay attention to their emotional needs as well. It’s important that children feel like they matter and that their voice is heard.

I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to help families raise happy, healthy children. I want families to know I will always treat their children as if they were my own.
