Sukhjit Basi, MD

Dr. Basi was born in India and immigrated to the United States at the age of 2. She was valedictorian of her high school class and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California, Davis. She attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, then moved back to California for her residency at Adventist Health White Memorial, Los Angeles.

She is proud to have a positive impact on her patients and families. When not at work, she enjoys dancing, playing badminton, and spending time with her family.

Alison Werne, MD

Dr. Werne received her medical degree from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, and completed her residency training at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. During medical school, she had the opportunity to practice in all areas of medicine, both surgical and nonsurgical, and knew that pediatrics was where she could make the biggest difference. Throughout her education, she received academic awards of excellence, including being elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduating with honors.

Her professional interests include asthma and developmental pediatrics. She is married with two children and believes that being a mother has made her a more empathetic pediatrician.
