Dr. Gowan received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her MS in biophysics and physiology from Georgetown University. She attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. Dr. Gowan’s special interests include general pediatrics, pediatric infectious diseases, vaccine education, and obesity prevention. In her free time, she enjoys playing and taking walks with her labradoodle, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She is fluent in Punjabi.
Dr. Lembach attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, where she graduated third in her class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Pediatric Residency in Los Angeles. Dr. Lembach lives in the Tri-Valley area with her husband and two children and is active in her community. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, art, spending time with her family, traveling, and hiking.
Staci Sampo is a certified registered nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco. Previously, she in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland for eight years. Her professional interests include nutrition, asthma, and breastfeeding. After realizing there was a need for breastfeeding support of new moms and babies, she became a lactation counselor, and in 2002 she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
