“It’s a privilege to be able to make a lasting difference in a child’s life.”
It takes a lot of trust for parents to entrust their child to a surgeon, and I value that trust. I understand that parents have a lot of fear when their child needs surgery. I take time to educate the family about their child’s condition and to reassure and guide them through what to expect throughout the surgery and recovery process.
I use minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever feasible, including single-incision laparoscopic surgeries. My goal is to achieve the least possible amount of pain and scarring and the quickest return to normalcy for the entire family.
The decisions I make and the work of my hands will affect a child for the rest of their life, so I take my role very seriously. It’s a privilege to be able to make a lasting difference in a child’s life. Kids heal very fast, and I love working with them because they have such a positive outlook on life. There is no sweeter reward than seeing a kid smile and say, “I am all better!”
