“Respecting the diverse cultures in our community is important to me.”
Helping my grandfather with his medications and appointments when I was young sparked my interest in medicine. Then, after medical school I spent some time working with underprivileged children, and that solidified my passion for pediatrics and infectious diseases.
I love working with all ages, from newborn to teenager. Each phase offers new joys and new challenges. I also enjoy watching the parents grow along with their children; you get to see how their parenting skills evolve over time. I treat the families the way I would want to be treated—I respect their time and focus on listening to their concerns.
Respecting the diverse cultures in our community is important to me. I'm very open to different ideas; there is not one right way to parent.
