Pediatrics
“There’s nothing quite like seeing a smile spread across a kid’s face.”
There’s nothing quite like seeing a smile spread across a kid’s face; it makes my day feel worthwhile and reminds me why I chose pediatric medicine. A close second: helping kids stay healthy. As a father, I put myself in the position of the parent and try to make them as comfortable as possible and reassure them that we’re doing everything we can to make their child better.
Having spent the first 30 years of my career practicing medicine in a pediatric hospital setting, I’m comfortable taking care of children facing many different health scenarios, while also providing reassurance, attention, and an extra level of care for the parents as well. If your kids are active, participating in school athletics or club sports, I also have a particular interest in sports-related injuries and questions.
